$18 Per Hour for Upkeep After Initial Build

Your website can make or break what people think of your business if they find you through the web. Nowadays your credibility depends on your online presence, not just your business itself. Only 64% of small businesses have a website, and that is usually because the cost of having a site.

So, I offer an alternative to those expensive website costs. You get to choose if you want your website started by me and you carry it on from there, or if you want me to continuously update your site. At almost 30% less the average industry cost!

My rate is $250 per page and $18 per hour for any and all upkeep. The only cost separate from my hourly wage is dependent on the Squarespace monthly plan that best suits your needs.

The Process

Paperwork

After our initial meeting (via phone, FaceTime, or in person) there are a few documents that need filled out, but then the fun starts. We discuss what you are going after with your website and and the main goal of your site; whether it is scheduling more appointments or just giving your customers more information on who you are and what you stand for.

Meetings and Check-Ins

Once we establish our goals and themes for the site, you don’t have to worry about a thing. Halfway through the build I reach out to you for our Mid-way Meeting to see if you have any requests or concerns to ensure that it is the perfect image for you.

Final Meeting and Upkeep Options

Once the site is exactly how you want it we have our final meeting. If you want to take the site on from there, the End Of Services Agreement is signed and you are handed over all the information needed to keep your site running beautifully. If you don’t want to do the upkeep and need to keep me on, you reach out to me whenever you feel you want a change.

FAQs

How often will I get billed?

For a website build or refresh, 50% of the total project amount is paid at signing and the remaining balance is paid at the time of the final meeting.

For upkeep billing, you will get emailed a bill every Wednesday of the week that is due the following Wednesday.

Pay via Card, Cash, Check, or Bank Transfer.

Can my website match the overall aesthetic of my business?

Yes! No matter if you have a more rugged theme to your business or if it is more clean cut and polished I can make the transition from website to walking through your doors seamless for your customers.

Do I have access to my site while it is under construction?

Yes! To keep your clients from seeing an “under construction” site you will be given a unique password to see the updates and progress throughout the entire project. This also opens up a line of communication between you and I if you want any specific changes on the site. The key to a perfect site is a completely open line of communication. Think of it as having a new person as a part of your team.

What if I already purchased a domain?

No worries if you already have a purchased domain, I can transfer it to Squarespace’s platform. In some cases if you already have a domain it can make the transition from old to new easier for your customers; so they still feel up to date.

Can I hire you for a website build if it is for a personal blog?

Of course! You don’t have to be a business owner to have me build a site for you. We can discuss options to get the perfect look for your blog, no matter the topic. It is also a great opportunity to look into my Ghost Writing services in case you have days where the words don’t flow as easily onto the screen.

What does it look like if you continue to do the upkeep of my site?

Anything from new products to updating your team page when there is a new hire, I can take care of. You reach out to me with any new things you want added to your site (or if you want something removed) and I’ll take care of it all at an hourly rate with a weekly billing cycle.
